Residence: A Bright and Warm Space for the Whole Family
Filled with natural light through its large window dressed in sheer curtains, this room gives off a soft, calming atmosphere. The warm, uniform light oak finish covers an entire wall and becomes the centerpiece of the design.
This project embraces a versatile space practical for everyday storage, yet comfortable enough to welcome guests when needed all while keeping a light, family-friendly feel.
A warm space that naturally adapts to the family’s rhythm.
The storage wall runs the full length of the room, with long gold handles that highlight the simplicity of the light oak finish. The open shelving, meanwhile, lightly holds baskets, books, and decorative pieces, adding a personal touch to the whole.
Behind the fronts lies a queen-size murphy bed, seamlessly integrated into the furniture. When closed, nothing reveals its presence, leaving plenty of room for everyday activities.
Once folded down, the bed reveals a warm wood headboard, enhanced by built-in lighting that creates a soft, cozy atmosphere. On either side, small open shelves hold books, candles, or everyday items, adding a practical and personal touch.
This project shows how custom furniture can transform a versatile room: a bright, warm, and well-organized space that naturally adapts to the whole family’s needs, without ever losing its simplicity.
