Our process
The in-home consultation service begins with the customer expressing interest by telephone, e-mail or via the website. To better define expectations and prepare for the consultation, an initial virtual meeting is organized. This is an opportunity for the designer to discuss the customer’s initial needs and the planned project.
Following this initial virtual contact, a home visit is scheduled, to suit the customer’s availability. Before this meeting, the customer is encouraged to collect ideas, inspirations, and any relevant documents such as floor plans or photos, helping the designer to get a clear picture of expectations.
During the in-home visit, the designer assesses the space, discusses the customer’s needs in greater depth, takes measurements and makes initial recommendations. This stage is crucial to the personalization of the project.
After the visit, we prepare a preliminary sketch, offering design suggestions, material samples, a cost estimate and a timetable for completion. The customer then has the opportunity to review this proposal, making adjustments in collaboration with the consultant, to ensure that the project perfectly meets their expectations.
If the customer accepts the budget envelope, a commitment deposit is required to begin detailed plans and specifications. Once the final proposal has been approved and the final quotation signed, the project moves on to the planning and production phase. We then coordinate fabrication and installation, while maintaining regular communication with the customer to ensure that the project proceeds according to plan.
