Promenade Paton Residence: Murphy Bed with Sofa and Integrated Desk
This condo, located on Île Paton between Laval and Montreal, boasts a prime location along the Rivière des Prairies and a private marina. Flooded with natural light from expansive windows, the space feels open, serene, and inviting.
In this peaceful setting, Limuro was entrusted to design a custom layout to fulfill two specific objectives: provide a functional home office during the day and seamlessly transform the same space into a cozy bedroom for guests by night.
The challenge: to design a Murphy bed with an integrated sofa and a custom desk, perfectly adapted to the dimensions of the condo. The resulting furniture blends contemporary style with efficiency, elegance, and local craftsmanship. Each element, designed and manufactured in Quebec, was carefully selected for this layout.
This multifunctional room transitions smoothly from office to guest bedroom. The desk is used daily for remote work, while the Murphy bed folds down effortlessly to welcome overnight guests. Every inch of the space has been optimized to adapt fluidly to the homeowner’s needs.
