The Notre-Dame Residence: custom wall bed that redefines contemporary elegance
The owners wanted to breathe new life into their home in Quebec City. They dreamed of creating a multifunctional room that could adapt to the changing demands of everyday life. They wanted warm, ergonomic furniture, in particular a custom wall bed that would enhance their space.
Beyond saving space, they aspired to a contemporary, sophisticated, and high-end design, in which each component would be carefully chosen to create an atmosphere that was both refined and practical.
Limuro’s team of designers brought this vision to life by designing built-in furniture across the entire width of the wall, with a vertical queen-size wall bed as the centrepiece.
Choosing a vertical wall bed is an ideal option for maximizing space while maintaining comfort. Thanks to its slender gold handles, this bed unfolds easily, highlighting its remarkable height.
When folded, it becomes invisible, allowing other activities to take place in the room. Once opened, it reveals a complete bedding set, complemented by a sand-coloured upholstered headboard, evoking the discreet comfort of a hotel suite.

The superior quality of the materials gives the whole piece a subtle, luxurious look. The matte white thermoformed fronts provide a uniform, soothing softness.
Two arched niches frame the wall bed and transform the piece into a true architectural feature. Clad in wood-effect slatted panels, they add softness and depth to the design. Subtly lit, they reveal the objects placed inside, bringing a touch of personality and depth to the room. Every choice has been made with a view to achieving a balance between functionality and elegance.
